I've been torn in between the TLR7 Sub and the SF XSC for my 43X MOS. Hopefully I don't regret my decision. It just feels so good in my hand. It's worth it in my opinion. From a purely mechanical point of view, the only major difference between the Glock 43X and the Glock 48 is the barrel length. Assuming OEM mags, the glock will probably be more reliable if only because the OEM mags are single stack and single stack mags can be more reliable than double stack. The 48 didn’t feel as smooth or balanced to me. Depends on what feels good for you, but a 48/43x would be my bet if you already have a 17. The 43x was my first glock.
